ZERO WASTE DIRECTORY

Zero Waste Directory

The aim of this directory is to help you find zero waste goods and recycling facilities in the Chamonix Valley. We will keep expanding it to include a wider range of shops and services.
We do our best to make sure the information is up-to-date, but if you notice anything that needs to be amended or added please contact us at info@zerodechetmontblanc.fr.

Most of the food shops in the Chamonix Valley allow you to bring your own containers for their deli counters, and a number of them sell dry products such as nuts, dried fruit and cereal loose by weight. We want to make sure you can make the most of these facilities by providing this directory. We hope you find it useful!

Zero Waste Shops

If you’ve never shopped in a zero waste shop prepare to be amazed! The way the shops work varies but generally customers either bring their own container which they fill from the bulk containers in the shop or the shops sell products in containers that can be returned and reused many times.

Zero waste shops will also normally be concerned with sourcing local products which have been ethically produced. You can find out more by asking in store.

Zero waste shops don’t just sell food, they will also sell zero waste toiletries, household goods and other products which help you cut down on single use plastic and other packaging.
